The advantage that that gains is that in the game after losing, he can play extremely greedily and his opponent will most likely play it too safe. To be fair, this is better, if sOs wins the normal game he would say herO, "I cheesed and i beat you 2 times, i played a normal sc2 against you and i beat you again, what would you do to beat me?"

I don't doubt that, regardless of the balance, the players in the finals know how to play/exploit the game and deserve to be there. I also don't blame sOs for cheesing his way to 100k. Just a bit sad it's so boring to watch.
