Really neat to see hellion banshee openers again
I was kinda wondering if fanta would go mech or biomech from it but I dunno if he made enough hellbats/thors to be considered true biomech, rather just a really solid bio transition with thors and hellbats splashed in based on how much lings vs mutas he saw

No, but whenever I see them Zerg just loses miserably and I am really wondering why Protoss players aren't massing Phoenixes more.

The only thing that really counters it is turtle Swarm Host style that I am not seeing that much in Korea.


Phoenixes are usually used to get scouting and harassment options for Protoss. But they cut into your gas production a lot. So it's hard to just mass them. Also, Zerg are free to drone heavily as you're making phoenixes because they know they're going to be safe for a while. But there are interesting developments with getting 5-7 phoenixes, occasionally with +1 these days. But you're weak against timing attacks on your third due to the late colossus.

You realize it costs as much as 30 mutas ? P don't do that for same reason Z don't build 30 mutas as fast as possible
