Yeah, Maru had way better control through the whole game but upgrades and inferior eco screwed him over in the end.

Well they have to try and hype something the protoss does. Doesn't really sound right if they say "well he has zero control, but he doesn't need it anyway"
|
Dear is so strong, if he comes out of this group of death in first place then he will just be proving to all the doubters that he is the world's best Protoss. Apart from Rain, it's sooo close between Rain and Dear.
But the job's not done yet, Maru is probably the best Terran who is more than capable of a comeback and the winner of Zest vs Soulkey will also be extremely tough.

Yeah, figured out by giving Protoss the Msc and immortal range. Figured out indeed. Yeh but they don't win anymore

well without Mama core a (hots, no techlab) reaper all in would be completley unholdable for toss so turn down balance whine.

a cheese that did no damage which putted Maru in a shitty spot. Doesn't work the same for Protosses tho.

Wasn't super crisp but holding that quick a third while going DTs and hardcore attack upping wasn't too shabby. Dealt quite well and split his forces vs Skey's aggression
Because its easy to judge a player by doing 'not on spot' decisions when you can actually see the whole map. Most observers / casters / viewers tend to forget that players don't have the full range of information we have. Thats why people call it out as terrible. Dear is better than anyone here in this thread and if he has the information we have, he will win such a match easily... but people forget to see that. WP by Dear. Looked a bit sloppy but in the end he won - all that matters. Could be worse, could be like fans of 'real' sports who lambast athletes for every mistake while saying 'I could do better' while in fact being corpulent drunkards On Dear, yeah he's still putting in decent results but lacks that aura of a few months ago, but nobody has yet remained in a vein of form like that in SC2 yet Hold my beer :D Only if you hold mine man

David Kim totally figured out these builds.
