Yea and I used the multiply glitch for Master Ball, I used the rare candies to power level the ones that I needed to evolve.
Just tricks of the trade back in the day.
Getting them all in the newer generation games without those kinds of glitches is 100x as insane but people have done it. People go crazy for Poke'Mon.

I've been wondering aswell. Maybe nsome tanks are stuck and those cant be produced because of lack of space?
That would be hilarious. I don't understand why there are those two tanks not being built in the production either. It would be brilliant though if he had 2 factories not being used all this time because tanks couldn't pop out :p

I just realized why Fantasy had 2 Tanks in the production Tab. He build those Factories so tight that the Tanks couldn't leave the production building.

That engagement was a complete throw.
He got impatient at the absolute wrong time, if he had waited for supporting Zerglings and Banelings then Fantasy dies easily, he didn't have the AOE dps for the Bio force, Fantasy didn't need the Thors or Tanks at all it was just simply stimmed Marines that raped Life's army.
The Broodlords are there to prevent the Tanks from being able to effectively counter Banelings, you can't fight a Marine count that high without a higher Baneling or Infestor count with Broodlords. Broodlords suck vs Marines without proper supporting units, Life had none of them in that engagement.
My FPL is going pretty well. Was ranked #12 before today, and now Fantasy has won for me as well. Shame Paralyze ain't playing but hopefully will get some team points from him. Just need my anti team to fail now and it'll round out a good start to FPL for me :D
Wish I'd had the balls to put him on my FPL team. If this is a tipping point and he starts doing well from here, he'll be a sick bargain with his low cost.

I am already desperate to read Fantasy's interview and learn more on how he and the team came up with the build! It's impossible to know if it will be a staple or not (so much of its effectiveness seems to come from provoking confusion in the opponent), but, man, it was incredibly entertaining already.
Here is to hope that fantasy+oov become a thing again.

To be honest, Life made a lot of mistakes, he should have won this easily when he reached Brood Lords, he just needed Infestors, but he refused to build them and he threw a lot of units beforehand.
Not to take anything from Fantasy, I really like this build and the way he played with the unit composition, constantly pushing and denying bases of Life while had solid defense.

No. The composition was Marine-Tank with a Thor or 2 mixed in not mass Thor with Hellbats and Marauders too.
MMM + thors/tanks was insanely common in WOL....
The only addition to this was hellbats and they were not a focal point of the composition baring a few here or there. The build was new but the composition was not at all.

I just think PvT battles have by far the most action on both sides. Plus it just looks so much cooler. Lasers, yo!
I'm not even worried about life. He played pretty well to be perfectly honest. Pretty solid map for terran I must say (not blaming the map just saying Fantasy made it work). Fanta played it well, but if Life was playing against a standard terran he did pretty much everything right

Because MSC was made to help stablize PvP which has the strongest all-ins due to warp gates. Since it needs to help hold the most aggressive P all-in builds, it pretty much holds everything else as well.

He had vikings 3 and 4 on the way and 3 ports finishing. Also the siege tanks wouldve demolished the lings instantly. Life had to try to make something happen. He was on even supply (with 20 more workers so much smaller army) and had no bank

Byul got greedy. Simply kill the nexus with lings will give him a great advantage in the beginning. He didn't want to go into mid game.
Yep, even after getting the pylon in the main and wasting lings on the zealot he could've still gotten it but he split his lings up again for some reason with the next wave.

The mothership core wasn't out when the lings first arrived. Byul lost so many lings without killing many workers or the expo. He went for the pylons instead.

He split up his lings too much, and kept throwing away small groups to the MsC instead of keeping them all in a group and trying to either kill a nexus or probes. He kind of tried to do both and failed really hard.
The building placement for Classic also helped out a ton. I think Zerg was expecting to be able to unpower the Gateway and/or prevent Cyber Core from going down, but that didn't happen.
Even after all that he STILL almost got the Nexus.

yah, if you fuck up your micro then you can actually trade inefficient against probes. however, just a bit of micro and you do so much damage that when the 2nd round of lings arrive it is GG. In this game, Byul was indecisive. he neither killed probes nor the nexus at the natural. He even split his lings between main and natural, basically leaving the lings in the natural to die!

Because MSC was made to help stablize PvP which has the strongest all-ins due to warp gates. Since it needs to help hold the most aggressive P all-in builds, it pretty much holds everything else as well.

exactly. he tried to unpower the gateway and failed instead of doing guaranteed eco damage. He wanted to end it right there and got punished for this move.

He doesn't need 2 groups of lings to focus down the nexus, one group of lings is enough, I mean 12 lings, ofc, he needs to keep frist 6 lings alive till the other 6 arrives. In that game, he probably built over 50 lings. With the Larva saved, after killing the nexus, he will easily surpass probes count in next minute, and he has 2 bases.

Yeah, building placement was another big factor. The early second pylon to keep the gateway powered was pretty pivotal.

There must be some deals in place. If everyone wore their own team uniform, then IM doesn't get the exposure when they send out the other team's players.

Isn't there a fee to join PL (since EG-TL had to pay)? IM probably has a lot more power in their partnership if they paid for it all.

But he wasn't able to get both of the pylons. I'm not saying it was a mistake to attack the pylons, just that he failed to do much damage and things only got worse from there. Byul could have played it out much better. I don't think it is fair to say Classic survived that because of the MSC, which is what you were saying.

Other than taking some unneeded Thor shots he didn't look bad that game up until the end.
He showed some classic Life when he trapped Fantasy's Hellions early on.
I wasn't really disappointed up until the end where I think I smashed my desk in half with how hard my head hit it.

He scouted 3factories, started 2-2melee, went spire, went roach warren and roach speed... wtf??? his tech was all over the place, badly set up against Mech, not set up against bio...
Pretty horrible decisions.
They were both clearly playing the get everything build. Life was swarmhosts and hydras away from doing it while Fantasy needed BCs, ravens, AND ghosts

Unless it's all kill period. All kill format has some strange mechanics to be honest. One hot player can all kill, but in Proleague format the depth is most important and I guess nobody has such a deep team as SKT.

Zest and Stats are as good as Classic , Parting or Rain , the problem is that that KT doesn't have good zergs , Action alone is not enough . SKT's Fantasy and Bravo are good support for their already strong Protoss and zerg lineup .

Even if it's Bo7 KT just needs Flash, TY, Stats, Myungsik and Action to take 2 games between them and KTZest will mop up.
