Ghosts are expensive to get because terran has terrible minerals/gas ratio for units, unlike protoss who has chargelots as a great mineral dump. Also, terran 1st tech choice are always medivacs while protoss goes straight into colossus or storm. Removing moebius made things a bit easier since you don't need to spend those resources to get EMPs for ghosts as soon as they come out but there is still a timing for protoss where they have storm and terran doesn't have enough ghosts to fight the army straight up. And teching to ghosts means much smaller bio army so that is why you see those ghost timings with SCVs as a meatshield. One thing Polt is doing great is keeping protoss on the back foot with small squads of bio until he manages to get ghosts out. If protoss just does a strong storm timing you are in trouble as terran. | ||
