Current Korean winrate vs foreigners - 47%
This counts each 2v2 as 1 win or loss rather than 2, if it didn't it would be even worse for the Koreans. Do you think this is because the foreign teams and players are more dedicated to the SHOUTcraft Clan Wars than some of the other teams that also have Pro League and other commitments?
Not respecting the wacky (and awesome) map pool, perhaps.

I think a lot of the foreign players do not have a big league that is sucking up all their practice time and focus, as a result they are trying harder because really, where else can they get those kind of eyeballs on their play? Complexity is such a prime example of that, they came in with prepared builds and whitewashed their opposition. Clan Who? had a similar result, nobody expected them to take it to the Ace against MyInsanitys best lineup, but they did anyway. The Liquid foreigners rocked it today too, really good builds prepared, but of course HerO, not so much since he has been so busy with IEM.
I kinda hoped this would happen honestly. It's such a preparation heavy format that if you work hard at it, you can even the playing field, especially since the Koreans are busy with other things like WCS and Proleague, so they have less time to prepare and can get caught out by a funky build. Wouldn't do the job in Proleague of course because Koreans can prepare like nobody else, but because of Proleague and heavy WCS commitments, most of the Koreans are basically part-time SHOUTcraft players whereas a lot of the foreigners have no other tournament to play in so they're giving it all they've got and it's showing results.

Starting to watch the VODs, I'm really liking New Pompeii. Granted the sample size is really small, but the layout makes for some very interesting engagements.

If/when we start getting better matches will you consider adding more starbow from time to time? Like I know Axiom vs ROOT potentially could allow for more starbow, not so sure about anything else, but it would definitely be interesting to see.
Most teams don't want to play it and those that have up to this point have been awful. There's one today, let's see how that plays out. If teams continue not to prepare for it though, we'll have to stop doing them

Why not on the right stream bar on tl.net now?

Looks like there will be some ROOT on ROOT digital violence today, and that the TLPD is slacking (Sasquatch and Astrea). Go Aussie_ROOT

sasq can be glad he is known for playing the game, anyone else would've been bashed by the starbow community after losing a match :>
