Hydra is 0-5. Guess, they have a litigation with sOs who will lose more, because it's ridiculous. And people still doubt Classic. Of course he's 3rd Protoss in SKT, but there is nothing bad in it. BrAvO played nice. I was like "Sora will definitely get it" after this 1 hp nexus but no. And roach ZvZ, nothing to say about it. EffOrt played 3 ZvZs, whole SPL got 3 ZvZs. Woongjin Stars 3-0 CJ Entus basically.

I think with the results Terran's have been getting it's about time to go back to Bbyong. They need someone else besides herO/Sora to step up and start winning some games consistently. But losing to probably the easier teams early on really hurt them because they are having to win "must win" games against the stronger teams in the league. But it's just disappointing to see Hydra, who was supposed to be the other player besides herO/Sora to step up and take some games and he's been very, very bad. Like that cannon rush, he only sent 1 drone down and didn't respect it, and it ended up costing him the game because of it. He couldn't put on any pressure and was trying to catch up in economy the whole game, especially because of the early 3rd by classic, which Hydra couldn't do anything about because he was so far behind. Everybody is just so much inconsistent ... Back in BW days CJ had Savior , Much and Iris . After that Kwanro , Effort , Movie , Skyhigh and eventually Bbyong and Hydra a fucking monster line-ups . Both Effort and Hydra were ACE player material in BW . Now although their skills aren't inferior to other players they make the stupidest mistakes in game and lose do to them ... herO and Sora are okeish , herO is probably the ace , but he seems to be playing very risky vs strong opponents which costs him games .

CJ was a major disappointment in this round for sure, but given how good their players actually are (yes, fucking Hydra too), I don't see them not shaping up eventually. I'm of the opinion that many SC2 fans are too quick to judge - lose a few games and you're suddenly a bad player, no matter how good you were just weeks ago. Give it time, CJ'll shape up because there is no way they won't.

Hydra for me is pretty much the definition of mediocrity

He may not be redefining the term bonjwa, but he is not mediocre.

Hydra for me is pretty much the definition of mediocrity Check the last PL season, he was the zerg player with the most wins. More than Soulkey, Jaedong, Roro and everyone else. I know PL stats aren't the one and only indicator for how great a player is, but having most wins is nothing to scoff at. CJ seems to be an underachieving team for a while now compared to what they seem to be capable of, like KT (except Flash) always overachieves compared to individual league performances. But I agree that their top players are definitely above mediocre.

I know people sometimes say that Flash "isn't good" but I mean I don't see anything to indicate that he's not. He's not astonishingly good but there are more modes than "bonjwa" and "bad". I suppose people sometimes have difficulty with nuances ^^

I just can't see where he did anything "impressive" in the recent past, iem i guess, but the "impressive" part was online for me and i really don't count online play^^ But yeah i agree with you that people are too fast with judging people from a few games, i just don't agree that this is the case with hydra

Hehe at least you trust him till the end, but i can't see how a life fan can protect hydra that much Even Roro is better Oo :D That is over half a year ago, i don't see how that is relevant right now, and to be quite honest the winrate isn't that impressive, no ^^
