Of course i respect that it is no where near accurate just its the way i see it, he never seems to show anything outside that makes me disagree with my point. Yes he always used to help his players out when they went far in tournaments and the interviews of players always thanked him for bringing them drinks before the game or a special chair for Byun once lol but i still think he only does so to get money in his pocket and now his team is just broken and to me isn't doing anything to help the situation
Prime could of lived off MKPs popularity alone no? I mean remember when there was a fund raiser to get MKP to fly out to a tournament lol, that was crazy!

After game recap:
Jila (GooJila,Kal) vs Sniper Game 1 Bel'Shir Vestige LE
Kal spawns in the 5 o'clock position.
Sniper spawns in the 11 o'clock position.
Sniper goes 14 pool, 16 forge, 14 hatch.
Kal takes his natural, Sniper grabs his third.
Kal goes Stargate and grabs a Phoenix, Sniper droning.
Lair, Roach Warren and +1 ranged attack coming up for Sniper.
Kal going into Robo tech and Robotics Bay and takes his third.
Spire going up, Sniper attacking with roaches but gets cleaned up easily.
Corruptors are out, Sniper is maxed out and wanting to attack again.

Its strange that prime doesnt communicate with fans why one of their best players isnt fielded or even seen on the bench. Its unprofessional and disrespectful imo

It keeps surprising me how poor the control and multitasking is from some of these long time BW players.
Not to start up the old sc2 vs bw thing again, but are there skillsets that just don't transfer over very well or was Kal just not playing as well as he can? All his early buildings were delayed by a couple of minerals, phoenix control wasn't too good, he missed the overlord with the stalker, late forcefields, timewarps and photon overcharge. Failed wall in with the double pylon double gateway cannon thing, etc. What gives?

I think biggest thing you can just say about him is that he hasn't been playing this game long enough. He started back in November? After his military service finished, so he probably has been playing like a mad man trying to get build orders down rather than his mechanics. I think they will come but of course going to take 6 months

I agree that writing him off this early would be very silly, but most of the smaller things he did wrong are very... basic. The nexus being off by almost 75 minerals is just so weird, as is the wrong building placement at the third. I can see the decision making or control of when and how to use mothership core energy or forcefields should come with more experience though.

looks like zergs arent getting proxy raxed very much because the few times ive seen it recently they completely fail to deal with it. I remember in later stages of WoL most zergs were really good and calm when dealing with this. They knew exactly what to do.

All his early buildings were delayed by a couple of minerals, phoenix control wasn't too good, he missed the overlord with the stalker, late forcefields, timewarps and photon overcharge. Failed wall in with the double pylon double gateway cannon thing, etc. What gives? I think biggest thing you can just say about him is that he hasn't been playing this game long enough. He started back in November? After his military service finished, so he probably has been playing like a mad man trying to get build orders down rather than his mechanics. I think they will come but of course going to take 6 months I agree that writing him off this early would be very silly, but most of the smaller things he did wrong are very... basic. The nexus being off by almost 75 minerals is just so weird, as is the wrong building placement at the third. I can see the decision making or control of when and how to use mothership core energy or forcefields should come with more experience though.
Yep very true, i will also add he hasn't really got much of a coach.....nor has he got any decent players to bounce ideas off. He clearly is the main man of the team already and all the kids are looking up to him like he is the level of his BW days already lol. Very strange, but this game is so different to Brood War and having to learn it on his own is not the best help.

I think Creators build was also a problem, it felt old and too safe. He took a late 3rd compared to what I'd expect now a days so even though he had upgrades, his army was always smaller for the longest amount of time. Even that is forgivable, but then he lost one critical engagement. He needs to work on his templar spread a la PartinG.

There were good moves by Keen, taking Creator by surprise. But I didn't see any huge mistake by Creator. I mean it wasn't like Creator donated his HTs right ?
I don't complain about PF, I just say it is not a comfortable position for toss when terran has a lot of ghosts that make your HTS much less efficient, as well as a lot of PFs so that it's way harder to harass. I didn't say anything weird...

I think so too. Like casters kept bashing Creator's micro while I thought it was ok, on the other hand I didn't like how the game reached the point where terran had way too much to counter toss, with a better economy and while catching up on upgrades too.

This stale 3 colossus playstyle is by far the easiest to deal with from a terran PoV. Creator still didn´t arrive in HotS in the matchup. He played over cautious and got baited into a trap with his main army and that´s it, if you didn´t play greedy enough to get economically ahead. He still has it in him, but he needs to play in a more modern way: Take it really long, get to 4-5bases and add Tempests and more archon / colossus or hit hard with your 2-2 or 3-3 timing!
But Shellshock is right. I think the current state of the prime team and the certain state in this team match seemed to affect his play.
