Scarlett has been relying on mutalisks to win ZvP and Naniwa likes to play with 2-3 stargates so I think Naniwa has the upper hand. But it'll be close, I hope we'll see cool games!

With this much on the line, both must be trying to play out of their minds.

Can't wait. Thank you sponsors & Bains

Well she doesn't like swarm hosts so that doesn't exactly leave a lot of options.

do we have a liquipedia page for this so i can add to calendar?

You can add this http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Rivalry/NaNiwa-Scarlett#Bitcoin Starcraft - Showmatch - I will add it to players pages in a moment.

awesome, cheers

Np but you may need to edit it later if dedicated LP article will be created (maybe after at least map pool - I don't know).

proved that you didn't need a Korean teamhouse to win games

It's funny because Scarlett's performance is godlike precisely because she trains in an almost Korean teamhouse environment with Axiom Acer teammates.

As for Naniwa, I'd assume the same as well, though a little less so.

I fuckin love everything about this. It has the right ingredients: esports, cryptocurrency, a nice rivalry, a huge pricepool, NA-vs-EU, it has EVERYTHING.

I think a BO9 would be better, creates a longer event, though since protoss meta is currently centered around timings, it might be preferable for Scarlett to have such a long series

This match decides who is the best foreigner, should really have been at least a Bo9. Anyways hype! Going to be awesome.

By the way any chance to see some community map? Would really help the map making community if a new map was used here.

The only thing what this shows is, who the better player in the ZvP matchup is on the day they are playing.
Anyway, this will be a really nice match and I can't wait to watch it, as I' am a big fan of both players, thx to all who made this happen.

Clearly what we really need is a bo37, spanning a whole week and including SC2, Broodwar, CS, poker, candyland, tiddlywinks and sword fighting.

Since no foreigner could win against a Korean in 2013, this is the ultimate test.

So excited.

promoting a currency that despite its potential is only used for white-washing and speculating (+ consuming a shit ton of energy for nothing)... As someone said if the bubble implode it'd be hilarious and make organizors look really dumb for using bitcoins.

Both Scarlett and Naniwa have won against plenty of korean players. But even if they are on par with korean players the probability to win against 5-10 of them in a tournament is slim.

I'm really looking forward to this game.

What makes anything a "currency" is acceptance as means of payment/storage of value. You think it is a bubble but seems like Chinese central bank disagrees.
