Best of 3 in all rounds.
In a Best of 3 map veto (removal and pick) system is used. The high seeded player(seeds can be found at round 1 on the grid page) decides who starts. Players take it in turn removing maps until only 3 maps remain in a best of 3. Then each player picks a map. Maps are played in order they are picked. The remaining map is played last.

The Korea version of these qualifier tournaments are always so ridiculously stacked.
Look at some of the confirmed participants: Dear, Life, Parting, Maru, Rain, Effort, Soo, Soulkey...

I hope that most of these games will be broadcasted.

I guess Sen might, he has a tiiiiny chance of making it through. Then again, Korea gets lumped in with China and SEA for the Asian qualifiers any ways, so grouping Korea with Taiwan/Japan isn't too silly, as they wouldn't get in even with their own qualifier.

The one who is a rising star on KHAN, he takes part in almost all ZOTAC and ESL cups and has some good results.
He beat 3-0 Nerchio in one of the finals and almost beat jjakji 2-3 in other finals.

Only caught the last part of that game with reality. Did he skip WM and go for bio+hellbats? Was just because he did some sort of early hellbat push or did he play standard just with hellbats instead of WM?

Hellbats seemed to be his standard build for the matchup. He barely made any mines for all 3 games.

He killed 4 queens and tons of drones/zerglings with hellions + reapers. Game was pretty much over after that. But he did go bio + hellbats + thors all 3 games. The games he won he got a big lead though so we don't know for sure how effective that composition really is.

Koreans tend to be far more efficient and just play their games instantly after finishing if they can without much communication. Trying to keep track of 32 matches when this happens isn't easy, so I feel for the guys doing it.

herO tried a bit to much to get "further" ahead imo and left himself a bit short army spreading wise. However i think the game was won with the drop haras, not only was it good but he would supply block herO so bad when he did it. Like 2 pylons down on warp ins trying to defend 3 positions at once must be hard.
