In a Best of 3 map veto (removal and pick) system is used. The high seeded player(seeds can be found at round 1 on the grid page) decides who starts. Players take it in turn removing maps until only 3 maps remain in a best of 3. Then each player picks a map. Maps are played in order they are picked. The remaining map is played last.

so how does it work?
how many players advance from China Stage 1 to Asia Stage 2?
I guess Stage 2 will consist of Korea, Taiwan, China & Sea ? kinda like New York qualifier?

Links are fixed, thanks for pointing.

China Stage 1 will qualify 4 players.

Asia Stage 2 will be composed of 4 Chinese Stage 1 + 4 SEA Stage 1 + 4 KRTW Stage 1 + 4 Seeded players.
It is a bit different and smaller than NY format since KRTW Stage 2 had more value than Asia Stage 3 for New York.

Only 1 qualifier for KRTW (will be announced later today).
You are right, no invited players in Stage1. Only 4 Asian seeded players for Stage 2.

You are 100% right. We have fixed that mistake. We will be more careful in the future.

oh! sorry, there are so many IEM threads at the moment and with AM Online, I thought you were talking about it
I don't think there will be an English stream, it's already a big surprise that they talk about the Chinese Qualifier on TL

It'll be a tough fight, but I hope Jim or MacSed makes it to Sao Paulo.

(Also I'm glad XluoS or XY didn't make it)
