The english stream URL has switched from twitch.tv/esltaiwan to twitch.tv/breakersc2 due to necessary changes.
Translating the rules right now...
Time: 19:00 Taiwan time, Wednesday December 18th 2013 to January 23rd 2014
From Source: http://www.ironforum.com.tw/SC2/Schedule.aspx
Prize: 85000 NTD,
1, Format: 1v1 Best of 3 games: Loser picks map, Altogether there will be 5 sets of Best of threes, the Fifth match being the ace match. The first team to reach 3 victories in this tournament wins the match for the night. The fourth match and before, if a competitor has played in a Bo3, they may not be sent out to compete again (basically in the event of an ace match can people send out a player that has previously participated that evening).
2. The tournament's point system: Every victory and defeat counts for adding a point and subtracting a point respectively. For example, if team A beats team B, with four Bo3s for 2:1 1st set, 2:1 2nd set, 0:2 3rd set, and 0:2 4th Set, then team A has 2 points, and team B has -2 points. In the event that two teams should have the same score, then 2 sets will be played to determine who advances.
3. Tournament map pool: We will be using all of the maps in the WCS map pool at the time.
Nothing else in regards to non-players. I will be trying to cast this if I have a chance, but of course, I am on my way back to America on the day it begins.

Great job! so it's an online tournament?

wonder what the prizepool is...
|
One Korean pro-team? Hm...
|
Dat startale army, lol
CN Teams with 4/5/6... Startale with infinity :D
|
Well.. obvious favorite to Startale.. but this is a gauntlet. San could cut through players like Life and Curious. I'm excited to get to check out a good bit of Chinese play!
|
d/w startale will disappoint again

Great job! so it's an online tournament? Yeah, I've been a part of Flash Wolves for a month now. As far as I can tell this is an online tournament. Very few massive tournament budgets in Taiwan exist to the extent that they can invite players from Korea.

|
whooooooooa
San's team didnt win?
EDIT: whoooa just watched the twitch archive, regular stalkers beat blink stalkers....
|
Casting from a garage is pretty hardcore
|
Unfortuantely today's event has been delayed due to the ECL taking place in Beijing. This directly involves the absence of members of iG, and Flash Wolves. Startale vs. iG will take place on January 9th, 2013.
|
Some pretty fun games
Jim beating San in that last game of the ace match with stalkers vs stalkers w/ blink was so clutch.
|
Are there VoDs on YouTube?
|
|
whats ECL?

There is no english stream available for it either. I asked if it would at all be possible to get one going for it, but apparently not.

On January 09 2014 21:18 dreamseller wrote: this caster is fast becoming the #1 caster in the world IMHO You really think so? Thanks, but I'm just a community caster and I try to broadcast all the content from Taiwan / China that I can.
Please stand by as I collect the WCS NA Taiwan Stage 2 qualifiers as well as the WCS NA CN qualifier replays and re-run them in English.
EDIT: To be honest I really think that my casting with iG vs. Startale was kind of weak. My head was unscrewed that day and I felt groggy.

Legend and Trickster are playing for Startale in the Finals. Well it will at least be interesting
