SC2Improve Winter League 2013/2014
Welcome to the SC2Improve Winter League 2013/2014! One year ago we ran our first Winter League, which was a follow on from the Summer League 2012 and it went amazingly when it had over 200 players competing for places in the RO16! But since then the rise of SC2Improve events has continued and we are going into our second Winter League event following the hugely successful Summer League 2013 where over 700 players took part in trying to qualify for the RO16 including players such as Qxc, Tefel, JonnyREcco and others.
With so much support there was no doubt the Winter League was going to feature again and here it is! Already we have seen all six qualifiers for this years Winter League and the RO16 Groups are now set! Dates for the groups will be announced in the coming week or so.

Format and Dates
Six qualifiers will be held. The winner of each qualifier will qualify to the RO16 of the Winter League. The two players who played in the Winter League Launch Show Match will also qualify to the RO16.
This leaves 8 open places. These will be determined through a points system within Qualifiers. Placing highly will gain you more points and after all 6 qualifiers the top 8 players on points will qualify into the RO16.
The RO16 will be made up of four GSL-Style groups, meaning two players will advance from each group to give us our RO8. From the RO8 it will be a single elimnation BO5 bracket, with a BO7 Finals.
