such a bizzare game. I felt San would've taken it if he didn't sit back for so long to get carriers. Either way, hope next game is fast lol

That game shouldn't happen again. That style is only good on maps like akilon, thank god for that lol akilon needs to be removed from tournaments so we don't have to see split maps like this anymore.

San did make some mistakes
1. Half-assed units which aren't good unless in mass (Carriers, three aren't going to do anything except maybe tank damage in a straight up fight, but Effort wasn't going for that style)

2. Kept trying to trade zealots for stuff when I don't think that's actually the right strategy in that scenario. I think you need to play like zerg, go for one huge fight and then remax as fast as you can and keep hitting them before they can position their units well. Because otherwise Swarmhosts + Viper +Corruptors are too good

3. Lost some units.

But yeah a lot of it was cause he was desperate to know what to do and there's not really much of an answer right now

ya of course, it shouldn't. Both were way too passive as well. Feels like effort doesn't know how to play PvZ well. Maybe his ZvZ and ZvT are better lol

On 2, I think Dear's style does a good job using the zealots and a prism to pull the zerg army so it has to engage into storms at bad spots or splits up nicely. Runbys... less effective.
