Can you just face it that there is no optimal solution and that everything can be used to argue that "X lost because of bad format"? - round robin groups cause meaningless games for some players. Thus, a player who gets to play someone who doesn't care anymore, gets an advantage and the outcome is dependent on the luck in the order the games are played. - pure single elimination tourneys are completely dependent on the luck of the draw for the oponent - any other system takes either too long or is completely messed up for the viewer | ||
