How were Jaedong vs Innovation game ? Close ? Not close ? 3rd game double proxy rax into gg .[ Damnit. ANd for the 2other games? Also is Naniwa out for good ? Naniwa is in lower bracket. Damnit. That is not a good day. Hope we will get crushed ! (hey we all have our preference). Rooting for Life and Jaedong. And forGG too. Also how good is Patiente ? I don't know him
No one knows him really. But he was kicking ass and taking names yesterday. Looking forward to see him vs sOs later (given that sOs beats goswser)

I imagine him and KAG having Korean wednesdays when they meet up for an evening of Korean TV drama and discussions about k-pop. They also make funny faces which they think are super cute. KAG does not really feel the same way, apart from not watching foreign bw afaik.

Not sure if you can say Yeonsu is Protoss favored as long as Swarmhost exist.
Veela *-* more of her !

imo he can definitely beat JYP but I cant ever see him beating JD

Well, if he didn't throw his game vs. NaNiwa he would have been first place in his group.

DTs, Blink stalker all in, voids, pheonixes, fast third, warp prism into ramp force field, oracles, proxy, cannon rush....Basically anything other than a force field based strategy :p
It's still Zerg favored of course but it doesn't help to use the weakest strategy for the map.

So good games today again, although my fav players lost once again.
Dreamhack for me is the prime SC2 tourney, they are doing almost everything right and perfect.

I think we'll be seeing an JD vs Innovation rematch. JD should be able to beat any combination of TL/ForGG/JYP/Leenock/Nani, though Nani is by no means certain, and I really think Life will beat Innovation.

Staying passive with SH on Yeonsu is pretty bad actually because you can't protect all your bases just by sitting in the middle like Akilon or Daybreak (RIP). Naniwa could have done a much better job at harrassing expansions (he didn't remake that warp prism for some reason).

Hm... wouldn't it be better to play out the entire Loser bracket round 2 instead of the winner bracket finals?

you have to take into account how many warpins he had to use to deflect the constant ling runbys and other types of aggression from Life.

As Ret would put it, "protoss is ok there as long as you don't put down a third nexus, Derelict 3rd = gg" lol

Any build that expands on that map is really super weak for Protoss. You can't forcefield(that's been established) and you can't defend at the bottom of the ramp because it gives your opponent a concave with the outlay of the map. Zerg has to let you have that base and just decide to basically be nice, or screw up horribly

You mean to ask if patience does know how to stop proxy gate/oracle ? :p (sorry i hate sOs as much as innovation. It was hard yesterday :p).

That depends on whether the zerg is smart and smothers every expo in spines and spores and has a ling squad ready to assist. Every time I see a zerg in the late game with 4 naked expos getting torn apart I die a little inside.
