Hell, recently on Meta Artosis asked some Protoss players about how they choose between Templar/Colossus openings and they all obviously said Colossus is safer. And I remember Parting saying in an interview a few months ago that he's started opening Templar because Classic helped him make Templar openings safer.

Templar first with double forge after robo off 2 base is more unsafe than usual single forge collosi first though :D Yes, the dual forge was odd, and overkill given that he was ahead from the openings.

Taeja doing his best to ruin this tournament for me. Defeating 2 of the 3 people in the entire event I care a lot about.

I agree that templar first after Robot is 100% safe when going for only one forge, but isn't it a bit unsafe with double forge? Everytime I try doing this kind of thing, I die like sOs did :D

This has been happening for a really long time going all the way back to last year.

Must be why Templar first is the most common opening in top level PvT, HotS Protoss surely needs to take some risks to beat HotS Terran! But right, I should have phrased it more carefully: people used to say that it was not viable because it was too unsafe.
