I think he thinks Dear is the best but he'll lose in the first round.

You know, it's funny how much the scene has changed.

We keep on talking about how 2011 is back, but let's take a closer look at that:

These 16 players will at least win $5,000 each (if they lose the first round). Back in 2011, when players like MMA, Mvp, Naniwa, Bomber and Huk won the MLG circuit events, first place was also $5,000.

Of course, the point isn't that prize pools are getting bigger (you could easily argue the opposite). It's just an interesting factoid.

That was just MLG being cheap though, NASL used to have a $50000 first place prize.

This poll is a joke. Naniwa so high up, and people really think Mvp is more likely to win than Innovation/Soulkey/Dear?...

Yeah well MLG was a weekend tourney that happened 6 times in 2011, not to mention their 6th (the "national championship" at Providence) had a grand prize of $50000 and had a prize pool of roughly 120,000 while their smaller events had prize pools of about 15k. So I suck at math but that is about 180,000 over the year. Compare that with NASL's 200,000 overall prize money in 2011 and you're fairly even. So I wouldn't say MLG was cheap

Oh sick, just saw the fan interviews. Nice job!

Holy fuuuuck I am so excited. If MMA (or Mvp) wins it, I won't stop smiling for weeks.
