i was not "listening to Day9's every word" .. but i found his casting on the 1st day to be annoying and incorrect and he'd spend time "covering his ass" after he is wrong... so take that criticism within that frame of reference.
but today.. Day9 is spot on...maybe he was jet lagged day 1.

Pretty sure current points include what they already have earned from this tournament. So winning this increases them by 500. Making finals increases by 1000. And winning it increases by 2000.

You are so lost man. They both need to win the whole thing to pass him. The current point standing INCLUDE points they are already guaranteed to get from this tournament if they lose now. Plus this is the quarterfinals so winner goes to the semifinals.
