I have to suspect you play low lvl T to say such a thing. was 4 base vs 2 base with 4 orbitals when Dear maxed out and all inned. Maru could have retreated and gotten a few more units and better position.

He lost because he made a mistake, but Dear still got outplayed. http://imgur.com/lPcZr8p ![]() I recommend actually watching the game. Making the decision to never make any ghosts or vikings against high templar and colossus isn't nearly as simple a mistake as you're making it out to be. Dear outplayed Maru because he defended well against Maru's pressure and came out way ahead in tech, crushing Maru afterwards. Just because a Terran drops multiple times doesn't mean he's automatically outplaying his opponent. Maru played well, but Dear played better. That's why Dear won.

I have to suspect you play low lvl T to say such a thing. Maru didn't go all in. But he did get "outplayed" just because he didn't tech. He also got owned pretty hard in the opening stage.

I have to suspect you play low lvl T to say such a thing. I would also like to note, like I did earlier, that Dear killed more SCVs with storm drops than Maru did with his bio drops. So Dear was teching, defending and harassing better than Maru. Obviously this means that Maru outplayed Dear.

There was a PvP on Whirlwind with Squirtle where a mistake in scouting the main resulted in an advantage for the player who scouted bad. So a bad play gave him the win. Not saying Maru is playing better here, just that it is possible.q

It is possible to outplay someone and still lose. See: Every HerO PvZ in late 2012 no no what? ![]() leenock outplayed hero on antiga Pshhhh Leenock n clicked (or whatever the neural hotkey is) the mothership after getting kicked around all game.

He lost because he made a mistake, but Dear still got outplayed. http://imgur.com/lPcZr8p ![]() Dear got a significant advantage in the early game, defended extremely well during the mid-game and then took advantage of the fact that Maru didn't have the tech to deal with HT/Colo. As much as I dislike Protoss (Mothershipcore is a ridiculous unit), Dear deserved that win.
