It's not quite end-WoL ZvZ snorefest level, but it's not far from it either. PvZ is the best non-mirror in HotS, if we talk about strategic variety. TvP and TvZ suck in that regard for sure.

I absolutely rate him in the top 16. Yeah well said, I'd put him in my top 16. Polt would be in the top 16 though also.

Off the top of your head, whats the best PvZ in recent memory? (sorry if that sounded snarky haha - I just dont have many stick in my head. I remember stuff like Symbol v Parting in Season 2 (?) last year and Parting v Life at Blizzard up :o But T v Z and even T v P I can think of good games (First v Fantasy, Inno v DRG etc) I vaguely remember swarmhosts and collosus lazers

HerO vs Jaedong, HerO vs Hyun at IEM Especially HerO vs Jaedong, that game had about a million tech switches without ever remaining on a single one. No breathing allowed, constant fights, constant decisions on the fly. And sick control.

Well, seeing 11-11s, all-ins from zerg and bio-mine vs ling bane muta battle can get boring. But yeah, subjective.

I can't imagine people arent entertained with the tense battle/s over territory in T v Z, but I can see why it shits people. It instigates a 10 minute death animation hahha
