I dont like if someone practices pretty hard the soul train one week long at ohana or whatever. Even in HotS, no difference. | ||

However, I don't think it's fair to say weekend tournaments aren't a good determinant of skill. They test endurance and the fundamental knowledge/mechanical aspects of the player more. Also, anticipating the possible factors of traveling to an event is a form of preparation outside of the game. Look at Life, Leenock (ok maybe not him ;; ) , Taeja, DRG, Hyun etc. They've all done consistently well in weekend tournaments and eventually had good gsl runs to match. | ||
