When a Terran wins PvT, it is legitimately because they were the better player. When a Protoss wins, you can't always be sure that is true (though it frequently is true). Of course the obvious route is to make siege tanks viable in the match up, especially since they are by far the most interesting unit Terrans have and opens up a great deal more strategies. ZvT suffers from a similar problem in that the zerg is forced into a composition by the strength of certain Terran units (namely widow mines). However there is something of a balance in this in that the widow mines are forced into the composition due to the strength of mutalisks. The cheese isn't too effected and there's still a ton of openings in the matchup. The same thing needs to happen there - widow mines and mutalisks need a reasonable nerf and then the matchup can start opening out again. lol That was in reply to a previous post. The huge regen is another reason why infestors aren't that good. Unless you land chain fungals until death they can just fly away and be good as new. Also why it's sad watching high templar try and deal with mutas.
Mutas shouldn't have been buffed in HOTS at all. Were mutas so weak or underused in WOL that they needed both speed and regen buffs? I think Blizz realised they made terran too strong with widow mines and medivac boosts so buffed mutas so they could regen from widow mine hits and catch medivacs.
