WOOOOO I am fine as long as Soulkey makes finals. Remember last time someone made back-to-back Code S finals. Yes, ex-Woongjin Stars player that was! P. S. Forgot to repeat: you cannot blame DRG for placing last in the True Group of Ro16 Death (other one possibly being group D if Maru and PartinG stomp their Ro8 (unlikely)).

And WCS KR S1 Ro8: Soulkey 3 2 PartinG sOs 3 2 KangHo Innovation 3 0 Roro Symbol 3 1 Bomber. 1 out of 4.

Although it is initially discouraging, if I'm being objective, I don't really have anything to complain with the current state of SCII. Tournaments are still quite common (more common than ever with WCS) and have strong prize pools. There are still tons of interesting players with very high level skills. There is still excellent community content, specifically Team Liquid coverage. The game itself is viewed by many to being more entertaining than before. Even with shorter LR threads, it just means I don't have to read as much to get the gist of what happened. (Sorry, I'm not as passionate/dedicated as you fine LR folks. : ( ) For me personally, the only thing that makes being a StarCraft fan less pleasing than before is reading all the negativity in threads. SCII is no longer the pinnacle of esports, but most of what we love about it has remained unchanged , so why not focus on what we have in a strong community with a stable game.

Not enough esf/kespa baiting ![]() The wall is down, nobody feel the urge to fight anymore. No fight, no passion. it make sense. None of these four has huge fanboy. Who would wanna watch dear vs trap. I know they have great skills. But I just simple don't know them. You can see only 6 pages for a semifinal between dear and trap. While the soulkey vs rain match is ok, but still not enough fans.

the next time someone asks " only 10 people in the audience? " they will actually mean " only 10 people posting in the thread? dead game! "

This is pretty much exactly how I feel. It would suck if some day tournaments no longer felt like SC2 was worth the time, but goddamn it, stuff like World of Tanks still has tournaments, and look at BW, crawling along like a zombie. We're a niche now, but I don't mind that.

The difference is that Sc2 had everything a new game could ask for (a huge fan base even before the game came out) and managed it to throw it out just with a mediocre/boring-in-the-long-run design.

We could have San as the one too ^_^. At least he 2-0'd Soulkey, and did not get 2-0'd like PartinG or (essentially) Rain.
