But shouldn't half the TL'ers then be whining they are going to quit SC2 (I think I only saw one in this topic, that is really subpar), with the other half blaming jetlag, network cables, food poisoning or whatever, as long as it is not the non-Korean playing better?

The only thing about the format is that it is in reality a bracket with a lower bracket transformed to something resembling a group.

Nerchio did win? I'm confused as to what you are saying. I'm aware that there was no rematch this go around so it isn't exactly like the other groups that caused shitstorms in the LR threads of previous groups.

I have nothing to wine about today, since there were no rematches. I would complain, if Showtime would have beaten ForGG in the final match, but since Nerchio and ForGG did´nt play before, there was nothing to complain about, as this group turned out nearly exactly as Round Robin, with only Showtime vs Genius missing, which would´nt have changend anything anyway.
But since you ask so nice: The format is still terrible.

The real interesting thing about your proposed bracket is if MMA gets first and Duckdeok does not advance, then we will have all foreigners on one side of the bracket, and all koreans on the other.
