It would need a huge blunder to blow that lead. Rain usually puts himself behind in macro games to have safety early and midgame because he knows Protoss is strong in lategame and he is especially with his templars. But that also does mean that any advantage early/midgame and delay to his 3rd thats late to begin with hurts him. Also if you play greedy you can have a lot more than him. On the other hand, what you say just shows you don't know stuff about TvP He was quite ahead, but Rain was not that far and was closing it up. Now it doesn't change anything to his point anyway.

I really dont see why ghosts snipe range is greater than HT's Chose bad engagement and should auto-lose even if he was WAY ahead? By the way, there's something called recall, it also saves you from bad engagements

Taeja was already ahead before that engagement. Stargate pressure did almost nothing. Rain took his third quite late...

Having huge lead over Protoss, still forced to retreat from the engagement while Protoss would have stomped. QQ much? As said, he is wrong.

He still could have won if he took that last fight better. Everything was clumped and the Colossus got sniped. Even when you're behind on eco, you can still win if you pick good fights. You also have to consider upgrades.

Instead of going too aggro, terrans are just macroing twice as fast and hard and taking advantage of key engagements. Rain can make good timing attacks too. I don't see Taeja as a "better player". Actually I don't see any player who should be consider decisively better than Rain.

On the other hand, what you say just shows you don't know stuff about TvP That engagement, they were both near maxed and their macro didn't matter because none of their reinforcements came in time. It's just that Taeja beat him so badly in that battle that Rain tapped out. Yes, his 3rd was very delayed but there was at least 60 supply difference in that battle. This was because his HTs were gone. GG Terran.

Innovation had the top spot for the longest period of time? more like one of the shortest times of a player everyone thought was gonna win everything. when did you start following sc2? 6 months ago? the names Mvp, Nestea, MC ring a bell?
