If MMA wins vs Maru, which is possible with how bad Maru was playing, I think she'll get out of the group anyway.

I just watch Korean SC2 nowadays. The other tournaments generally look like slapfights between 4 year olds by comparison. Hence my question, "why the fear of Scarlett"?

But I guess I have no clue of how good most Westerners are, since it's very rarely I see them in the top 32 of the only competition that really counts. I certainly haven't seen Scarlett in the GSL. No one gives a shit about the MLG except for NA/Euros who want to feel like they're actually competitive.

Or maybe it's just my imagination that the NA and EU parts of the WCS are dominated by Koreans?

Hold on folks, the SC2 hipster has arrived. He only watches the highest quality SC2 and doesn’t keep up with that main stream stuff we all watch.

Probably isn't even knowledgeable enough of what the Koreans do that is actually good. Anybody who knows the game can point out Scarlett's strengths solely from watching her games here.

Koreans go to MLGs, but obviously they don't care for it.

Still not seeing an analysis of whether Scarlett's skill is based around micro, macro or strategic skill. So far I saw a game where someone got bunker rushed after failing to scout. Or did I completely misinterpret the last game?

I didn't stop watching Western games because they weren't hip. I stopped watching them because there are 5 minute pauses in them were people don't do anything but mass forces at their natural. But that's beside the point.

The question still stands, why would Koreans be so intimidated by Scarlett? With people's superior knowledge of the international Starcraft scene, I thought it would be easier to explain to me than to result to ad hominem attacks?

Seriously, park your dicks for a moment and answer the fucking question already. It's not complicated.

Mechanically she is as good as or better than most Korean zergs in terms of creep spread, injects and economic timings. Her defensive play is extremely strong and she has a lot of skill in playing against the current meta MMMM. The perfect example of this is her vs Dream. And though she lost, she showed more skill in her games than Roro did against Dream (and Roro vs Dream were good games).

Finally a good answer. Most appreciated. Not being shown here, but I can see why Scarlett would normally be able to demonstrate this.

My point earlier is that if you are so knowledgeable and discerning in your SC2 viewing, you should be able to figure this stuff out on your own. Otherwise it strikes me as the worst kind of Korean fanboyism
