[/QUOTE] I think this is unfortunate and the broadcasters are as much to blame as anyone. They should have known what Terry was going to talk about when they sent him out there: it's a professional business, don't leave your business up to an intern, take responsibility. It's similar with all of the PC now in the US. It really doesn't help when Al Sharpton is calling white people "cracker", which he did last week. I trust those who are up in arms against what Terry said (and I agree it was not PC), have also voiced their equal outrage about Sharpton's comments. That's part of the problem here. People are more accepting of criticism when the standard is applied equally. Hopefully this whole thing will go away. What a downer. | ||
