Probably not. But because he didn't SAY it it was fine. | ||

I didn't want to get into this but since you resort to name-calling I guess I will share my view. Yes, what Terry did was unprofessional at a SC2 event. NASL didn't over publicize the issue, they simply made a twitter post apologizing to those who were offended and made sure the event went on to please those. Terry wasn't racist, he was simply trying to be funny, but he was doing it at the expense of another person's event experience, and it was as wrong as if he had made severe fun of the guy with the political science degree. It's not that Terry's racist, it's he made someone feel uncomfortable. And the way he did would make other people feel uncomfortable going to that event. I'm not a white-knight for feeling bad for that guy who came all the way from the Virgin Islands to feel super awkward in front of Terry and 40k people. And it wasn't just awkward like awkward conversations, it was awkward because Terry was saying "Hey look at how weird this is! A black guy!" Your point that NASL then made a bigger fuss out of it, but they did a response to it that said they didn't agree with it. They addressed the problem in the right way. It's ok to make a bigger fuss and dramaticize an issue(even though they really didn't at all, just twitter post and replacing Terry), if you're addressing it in the way to make a statement on the issue. So don't generalize people, MasterofPuppets and realize we all have opinions, some of which others disagree with, and NASL as a premier SC2 organization is trying to appease everyone despite your philosophical views. | ||
