If ST makes it to face MVP in a GSTL final that should indeed happen

I'll drive down to stockholm if that happens.

Proud of him being too weak to compete in KR?

Koreans must be banned in EE and NA regionals. It's not interesting to watch, you know that no matter what, koreans will win. korean vs korean finals, woohoo, so much fun, especially when they come to EU and have guts to not even learn english

really? He played fair throughout the whole tourney. Grubby came close to winning against him but messed up the final game. There is no reason that foreigners can't win against Koreans so saying that you know koreans will win is definitely not true.

Yes, really, he's korean, he must play in his region, not in EU. Hell, he doesn't even know english. SO much for EU champ lol.

Complain to Blizzard. I'm sure they'll care.

Since sc2 is dying anyways, this obviously means all European pros should switch to pokemon.

I would totally watch Hasu vs Welmu playing pokemon xD

We can see the return of Cloud, as clearly Italians are the best at pokemon

Blizzard's rules. I for one am glad that he came to EU and ended up winning. I could careless if he can't even speak. Region isn't locked, so he's allowed to come here. Grubby lost which is disappointing but making the RO4, losing to the champ and going to the WCS finals is an amazing achievements. Looking forward to seeing him improve some more.

Many foreign players speak barely tangible english. In fact, a lot of players that aren't from Korea (or China/Taiwan I guess) would be better off with translators. But it's only a problem when a Korean doesn't speak English, yes?

Congrats to ESL. Great production, casting, hosting and organisation. Crowd interaction was good as well. Looked very slick and professional, with nothing cringeworthy or juvenile. Best thing about WCS EU - no interns!

Why you gotta hate on Terry?

That said every other point is accurate.

Not hating. I just don't think he is very good or adds any value. He seems like a weak link compared to every other part of WCS NA. In contrast I didn't think any part of WCS EU comes across as amateurish, it is all very polished. People know what they are doing and it showed.

I understand NASL are just continuing in their tradition of trying new things to incorporate into their broadcasts, and I applaud them for such an approach but it is clear that some of the things they try work and some don't. Just my opinion.

have you watched the Ro32 and Ro16 of WCS NA?

plus he does social media, gets korean feedback/perspective, and is a VERY GOOD korean translator

some of the videos they've produced with him are pretty hilarious(can't be arsed to dig them right now they're on youtube). he's a little awkward... but enthusiastic, and it's contagious.

Of course I've watched it. Hence my opinion is that he is not very good. Not funny, unless you are laughing at him. Very poor at interviewing, keeps losing his train of thought, goes off on a tangent and so fails to make his initial point. Why do you think Bitter keeps looking at him like he is crazy? The time would be served by actually having someone talk some analysis of the games rather than someone asking juvenile stuff that appears to be geared towards 12 year olds. Like which pet you would have from SC2 units? Seriously? Maybe that sort of thing floats your boat, but I have not got time for that...

In contrast WCS EU came across as professional and organised and was subsequently more polished. If you disagree and think they needed someone asking juvenile and inane questions then fair enough. I'd prefer to pass on it, though.

Are you blind or something? koreans are FLOODING EU and NA tournaments. They win everything, they halt EU and NA progress in sc2, they halt new EU and NA stars development. It;s one of the reasons LoL and DOTA are so much popular, it's just not interesting to watch tournaments, knowing that (insert random korean pro) will win the tournament.

They probably will notice the huge drop off in viewing numbers compared to last season, and last years WCS EU finals. They are supposed to be making decisons that grow the scene not diminish it.

If ST makes it to face MVP in a GSTL final that should indeed happen

I'll drive down to stockholm if that happens.

Stockholm isn't south Sweden...

Many foreign players speak barely tangible english. In fact, a lot of players that aren't from Korea (or China/Taiwan I guess) would be better off with translators. But it's only a problem when a Korean doesn't speak English, yes?

China\Taiwan players dont win every single tournament

How about you answer the question?

Blizzard's rules. I for one am glad that he came to EU and ended up winning. I could careless if he can't even speak. Region isn't locked, so he's allowed to come here. Grubby lost which is disappointing but making the RO4, losing to the champ and going to the WCS finals is an amazing achievements. Looking forward to seeing him improve some more.

What fucking progress. NA and EU are miles behind because they don't do teamhouses, don't have designated coaches (not everyone at least), don't have practice partners whenever they want etc. They have created styles, sure. They have innovated on many strategical points in the game, but NA and EU have to work for success. I for one love the fact that we don't have segregation like LoL. Watching competition that is pampered in that way is no fun. If Europeans and Americans want to persevere, let them work for their fruits and so when they finally, win, they cry like duckdeok. That way, they are actually proud of their win.

I thought I would never experience a Russian user complaining about someone not knowing English ^^
Also there is no official European Language so why are you hating on him for not knowing English and not Swedish, German or French?
