Not really it was ~39k on english stream at the end of 1:st match.

Well it was around 45k during Grubby v VortiX

I'm pretty sure I saw 59k at the end.

Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

First time watching WCS NA, cant really compete in productionquality with WCS Europe.

wat? I don't even.... What exactly do you imagine under the term 'production quality'?

Bright screen, no redeye just some random interviewer, average casters, overall setting of the show.

Though I like the map flyover.

Clutch is not random lol... True he's nothing compared to ReDeYe but he does his job just fine. And lol @ Bitterdam being "average casters"...

Clutch is just too loud and has an enormous ego compared to Redeye.

Bitter is superb, Rotterdam is below average.

WCS EU is much better in every way.

except players

you can't compare these two. eu has not that much trouble with koreans and has always a story line and tons of europeans. am has a different feeling, they can't do wcs extra with chinese and koreans it would be just weird. i agree that redeye might be better than clutch but clutch is everything but bad. i don't understand these complains to be quite honest

I was referring to the quality of the players in general. WCS NA has more top end individual talent compared to EU (which is true). I'm not referring to the American players obviously... but the Koreans that are in the tournament itself.

nono i am not refering to you i just wanted to add my point to the discussion overall. you're right that the quality of players is better overall, no doubt about that.

am i the only one who thinks bitter is somewhat biased? you can hear in his voice how excited he gets when Zerg is looking to win an engagement, and when Zerg wins a game he sounds like he is ecstatic

When Naniwa played it was 55k. Never saw 60k. Still 20k less than last time iirc. Anyway it does not realy collide with TI3, but ppl tend to do sth different the day and watch at the evening Ti3 - That and a certain well known country dominance could have caused it.

I think I saw 60k during the Grubby match, not counting other language streams. Maybe I'm mistaken?

They re-made the cinematic.... it was shown at least 10 times per hour during BlizzCon Invitational Series 2011. How did you miss this?

No I didn't miss the cinematic, I remember it from the campaign as well, I just find it so stupid that someone would refer ingame action to a cinematic when it is so much closer to the gameplay scene in SC1

65k even.

I guess I looked some time after the last match but pretty decent numbers; Almost the same as last season (a little over 70k I believe).
I Protoss winner, could it be?

Nope, there was actually no cinematic for that in SC1, it was just implied. WoL did a flashback version.

The english stream hit 60k (at least) for a bit

Yeah, the difference between EU and AM will probably be, that EU was going up throughout the day as more and more Americans were tuning in, while AM will probably (I hope I am mistaken though) go down as more and more Europeans will fall to sleep.
Anyways, I still like the offline portion of WCS AM more then WCS EU but that is just my personal preference

That reminds me, we have yet to see a real Protoss cinematic in SC2. Most we've seen is Zeratul really. I want to see Stalkers, Immortals, Sentries and the like in modern Blizzard CGI dammit.
