You seldom have that killmove as PvT has, where one drops 120 supply and simply dies. That was a high-level, sick game from both sides, A+ macro. But Scarlett couldn't engage at the south-east all the time, as well as aLive couldn't engage at the north-west choke/high-ground. He did though, and took a bad engagement, deciding not to retreat. To dodge fungal, he was forced to give up his kind-of-okay position (and stop the attaack on Scarlett's fifth base completely with that move). So he decided to not give up the pressure, miss-microed his vikings a bit (because it's freaking hard to micro against Fungals, when you have to protect marines as well as vikings) and lost his main army. At the same time (the observer completely missed that), aLive's fifth base fell to four Ultralisks (that joined the fight when he tried to flee) with 40+ workers on it. Also, he didn't switch to super late-game (though Scarlett did, with Ultra/Broodlord/Infestor/Queen). So... GG. | ||
