I hope Oz gets through but honestly, everybody can beat everybody here. Would've been more fun with viOLet there as that would've expanded the whole scheme and still everybody had a good shot

Yeah, the group becomes more of a toss up with only three players, all of whom are at quite similar skill levels, imo.

I think it's pretty clear what *should* happen in this group (sorry Ryung :o) but bo3 we could yet be surprised. if violet was here then he could throw some wrenches into precedings... he could've upset Oz, and Jaedong proved to be beatable in ZvZ (HyuN) recently which has always been a volatile matchup even tho Jaedong has proven to be a monster there.
I'm very curious to see Jaedong go up against Oz and see how his ZvP has progressed.

Missed the first part of the game but not surprised to see JD take it. His ZvT has always been good but his ZvP has always been soso. Hope he can take out Oz and advance in first place. Not sure who I want to advance between Ryung and Oz though.

Wait a minute, am i blind or this is almost exact same build Soulkey did against Innovation in those GSL finals g4? Roach bane timing with saturated 3 bases with 1-1 on lingbane and roach/bane speed :O. Difference being that Innovation tapped out faster.

Ryung did make a lot of bunkers but honestly, I think tanks would've done a lot more against those banes than widow mines.

This is two seasons in a row now right? Why does Violet have more trouble than everybody else?
He has already spent a lot of time in the US when he lived here. That can bork your ability to get a visa later, although hopefully when the athelete stuff kicks in it will get easier. And they need a visa, since it's technically a "working" trip and not for pleasure. (Otherwise I think S. Korea is a US-VISIT or visa waiver country.)

Love the chemistry, I am so happy WCS went to NASL. Its a shame Kevin Knocke appears to have taken a managerial role and we don't get to see him cast anymore.

Yeah, actually I don't get it why every one think that most of the complaint are from other races. Every body (except IdrA maybe :D) wanna play the most balanced game. I'm terran and I don't want terran to be op or easier than the other races. I just want balance. Photon overcharge is in my opinion a bit too strong and destroys a part of tvp, and many protoss players do agree on this.

Gotta get back into that magical NASL SC2 zone after a little time away. It's all good, and what I saw today was pretty awesome. Also, it's great that Ben is getting a lowly intern some screen time and Terry isn't bombing it.
Watching through the vods and JD's map awareness and reaction time is crazy good. Oz tries twice to sneak a warp prism into JD's main and it blips on the minimap for like 1-2 sec and JD reacts instantly both times. Not only that but great reactions to the aggression at his bottom left base, responding to army movement around the map and getting good positioning, and good micro. Really really great mechanics from JD today. Color me impressed.

It was an abomination. The BW games were worse because people were practising less. The SC2 games rarely lasted longer than 15 minutes because no one knew how to play.

Hybrid Proleague, half BW, have WoL.
It was an abomination. The BW games were worse because people were practising less. The SC2 games rarely lasted longer than 15 minutes because no one knew how to play.

Now I'm not saying Oz was cursed. But I'm saying Oz was cursed. And this statement, "It is hard for Protoss to not kill Terran." sounds like a curse.
Hi my name is Jaedong and I made 46 FUCKING MUTAS to go kill Oz. Friggin beast. Oz had the edge though, he should have been able to win that game if he had more Templar. That's the thing with Zerg. You can tech switch to whatever you want to in an instant. He could have just as easily went Ultras and won with all the voids being dead.
Holy fucking shit JAEDONG!! that series vs Oz... wow. showcased just how strong of a player he can be, early game, and in a drawn out long macro late game. Game 2 was incredible.
also props to Rotterdam and Mr. Bitter (and OF COURSE good ol' Terry) doing a great job with the commentary, great chemistry there, by far my fav WCS AM duo. also nice to see they stepped up the production overall, hell even the music was refreshing.
