I mean MVP vs Squirtle where Squritle vortexes the battle cruisers was so amazingly sick, and the actual vortex mechanic involved some amount of skill. I just wish there was a way to remove, or significantly nerf, archon toileting and keep vortex. Because that was the really imbalanced part of vortex | ||

So even if Swarm Host/Broodlord becomes dominant it still isn't as bad as WoL. Swarm Host is the exact copy of the WOL BL problem, because the Tempest does nothing vs it. It's slow and Protoss can try to get around them for a base race (just like Broodlords), but that's about it. Every other victory requires Zerg to be completely out of position and let the Protoss army blink inside and destroy them for free. | ||

When the entire matchup hinges on one spell being cast once, it's bad for the game. | ||
