You win or you lose and Alicia didn't play any better or worse, thats why he lost. He scouted (on the 4th map) that Taeja is going for something very greedy with the third base being insanely early, yet he went on to play his usual style without variation. He could have punished this build (especially with his opening) very hard but he didnt. The last game, he still did stick to his build and brought the same to the table while Taeja adjusted. He had information and used it. The same could have been done by Alicia but he simply didn't vary his play. If you believe Alicia deserved the spot in the finals more, could you elaborate why you think that way? | ||

Alicia is a great player, easily one of the best non-Kespa Protosses, but he has started to become predictable. It was the same way in his PvZ, where it was skytoss every game.
