I'm guessing maru was just a practice partner for skt1, though being that at like 10 is kinda off insane, also we should have a guess where maru will go now IF prime disbands. Yeah but idra hits the gym a little bit, so they'll have something in common.

I expected him to lose vs First in the first place (since I thought his strengths were similar to Rain's, and bomber didn't look like he could beat Rain in the earlier group stages), so I had some hope I'd be surprised again and Bomber would go final... but not super surprised by this score. Now I think I hope Rain wins, so solid ~ Game 1 (Akilon) - Non-stop aggression from Bomber breaks Rain's natural. Game 2 (Anaconda) - Bomber goes for a mass hellbat strategy with a few tanks and thors. Rain wins with storm drops, storms on the hellbats, and immortals. Game 3 (BSV) - A marine-hellion-medivac opener is hard countered by a stalker counterattack while Rain easily defends at home with the nexus cannon. Game 4 (Star Station) - Hidden DTs do tons of damage, Rain scouts a hidden third from Bomber, then defends non-stop aggression with immortals, archons, and storms. Game 5 (Whirlwind) - Rain opens up with 10 gate / 10 gas which forces Bomber to lift his CC-first into the main. A followup 4 gate attack breaks Bomber's bunker defense.

It wasn't just the SCVs he killed, he delayed Bombers expansion until he had his own gateways and nexus up, Bomber was dead in the water long before the push hit. aye thats another good point. This push can be reactive unlike 11/11. But yeah Bomber took alot of damage early on.

- Don't go mech. It's not viable, and imo it shouldn't be viable: in BW bio wasn't viable either. - Don't go for hellion marine pressure: the canon holds it very well. - Go for an economy build with good upgrades but with pressure and deny the protoss his third. Bomber violated these rules imo.
