Still, if you don't do proper damage with the banshees, if you opponent scouts and build a tank of his own and viking of his own, saves scans, this can be deflected really easy.

I think one of the problems with hellbats was just how fast they could turn the tide of a game. You could you fail 3 drops and then the last one would wipe out an entire mineral line and suddenly your back in the game if not ahead.

You haven't been watching TvT enough. Banshees opening are the go-to build now. With and Without cloak variation. ForGG even plays he old Hellion/Banshee gameplay.

I find Banshees more interesting than Hellbats anyway. Feels more micro-able and doesn't have the potential to just insta-kill 10 workers due to an opponent's slight misclick or something.
