That hold at the third was epic enough to make the game recommendation yes. GL in the future true. Maybe you will pick up BW again. GJ BISU! BvZ imba! <3
I opened the stream a little late and thought Bisu was retiring. While watching the game, I was pretty sure true was intentionally throwing so that Bisu's last game would be a win - does ling pressure like that ever work?
Imagine my suprise when its True who is retiring, and with that embarrassing game no less.
KTY has a lot of deficiencies in SC2, particularly decision-making in PvP, but when it comes to crisis management in BvZ he looks like his old BW self.

the ling pressure should have worked, or at least killed the third, if it was a little better executed and bisu didn't keep his cannon alive so well.

i don't think that ling build is very good imo, especially with how protoss make their wallins nowadays

I dunno how you can make that assessment, but he won't be casting Proleague next season so at least appreciate that he cast for us this season (even though a lot of people don't like him he still did us a decent service). Whiplash will get a new partner.

Any Information on WHO? Will it be somebody who speak Korean like SnM?

No info yet. Whiplash + SNM was a surprise for everyone so I'm not sure if they will get someone fairly unknown, or someone more experienced.

Unless he stops doing lol I doubt he has the free time even tho it would be a nice combo.
I just want to hear news about the next pro league!!

It's okay, I hear Blizzard plans to fix hellbats by 2014
With those gameplans from kespa terrans (mass medivacs + hellbats drops), I hope Blizzard will realize fast enough how broken it is :p
Well, out of balance discussions, I really love new kespa tee-shirts. T8 looks way better with this than with they pijamas, and the SKT tee-shirt is pretty nice.
On July 08 2013 15:50 Tsubbi wrote: proleague hots tvz is getting closer to 65%
While this is true, 14 of the games won by Terran were from Flash&INnoVation who are without doubt, a class above every Zerg besides SoulKey. SoulKey is 5-2 having lost to only Cure and INnoVation. So if you ignore the victories from Flash&INnoVation you will see that its actually close to 50% (53,3%) and that is before you say it not putting statistics in favor of Terran, its simply not ignoring player-strengths and potentially also map stats.
If you remove SoulKeys record as well (only the wins) its 58% which is not perfect, but still very far from 65%. Saying ZvT is unwinnable is simply bullshit and you cry out every thread there is and already got banned&warned for it, why do you continue and derail the LR threads? Go write a blog if you dislike it.
Korean girls are awkward when watching Proleague. Are they all skipping school and scared that their parents/teachers find out or why are they hiding like that?
That seems like a really strong all in, cutting the warpgate and all makes it come extremely fast, plus stalkers aren't great vs void rays regardless..I can see this becoming common ~_~
Guys, guys. Just hear me out for a second I think, just maybe.. I have a good hunch about this.. That we're witnessing the rise of the first SC2 HoTS Bonjwa. He's not PiG or Ty But Pigbaby
On July 08 2013 16:36 bo1b wrote: Kind of wanted to see pigbaby's game. Was it a good game or a clever strategy that caught rain off guard?
none of the above. It was a dominant strategy that pretty much had no counter as it was so new. There was literally nothing rain could have done after he threw down robo.

I just hope TRUE at least ends his run through GSL rathern than today
SKT will lose this and I don't see them winning against STX with the ace advantage going in favor of Innovation. So I can already predict the top 4 of this year PL :

Just no. I would be extremely surprised if STX isnt 4th. I dont think you're familiar that SKT T1 players suddenly become godlike during the playoffs, and KT players turn into SSJ, especially their immortal zerg lineup.|
Edit: Also, a playoff without SKT vs KT is preposterous.

that game was a good example of why terran mech needs a nerf to harass potential and a buff to field potential. The fact that we have to see bio play when protoss has so many easy ways to deal with it is very telling of the current state of terran. Mech is a joke =(

He's best bros with Parting and Rain so he threw it for them. They forged a neverending bond at Protoss summer camp, otherwise known as WCS Asia and BWC.

Skytoss is a joke vs Terran. Terran bio was a joke in BW TvP. I don't see why you should be able to play every style in every mu, balance is hard enough as it is. The bolded part is also just dumb whine. Bio is still holding its own vs toss and is far from easy to deal with.
Cool story bro. Let's ignore the fact that the last 2 WCS Korean champions were Kespa zergs..Proleague is a mess right now. It's 80% Protoss that dominate every match-up. Hots really rewards gimmicky play style and Protoss surely has a lot of new gimmicky units. The WarPrism buff is just the icing on the cake.
I know T8 isn't popular or anything, but I actually really grew to like them in this season, and this hurts a lot more than I thought it would. I mean, they have no sponsor, they lost Jaedong, they lost Major, they have to cut players, and more than likely they will be cut entirely before next season. My first favorite team? Slayers...then they disband. My second favorite team? ZeneX... then they disband... My third favorite team (you would think I would have learned my lesson by then)? ACE... (need I go on?)
Then I decide: "Hey, T8 has Jaehoon, I like him, and they have Baby, I like him too. And they might have a chance, with Jaedong, to go far, and I always like the underdog! I'm gonna watch these guys! They are underdogs, but they have some good players; they could actually do something crazy here!"
At first it was just a choice... but then I actually started caring. I started staying up late to watch their matches. I watched them win and I would feel happy for the entire next day, I would watch them lose and be pissed about it for a week.
Every team I love goes away, in the end. It's bullshit. Sometimes T8 would look so good, and then they would just fall flat on their faces. They get no love (I understand it but damn it sucks) and are pretty much a joke to a lot of people, but I think they could go into any other league and be competitive. If they do disband (and it seems a lot of people want them too ) then I hope at least their players find a new team and stay competitive.
Fuck... this sucks... Proud of these guys though. They've been through a hell of a lot.

I just think it would be better in the game for the long run, its not this matchup specifically. You don't really see mech terran in any matchup because its just well...bad.

Skytoss is legit vs Terran mech (but probably shit versus Sky Terran)
I think it was Classic vs Light on Bel'shir vestige? Classic went quick tempests and totally fucked Light's tank based mech + marine army.

Skytoss is a joke vs Bio yes, but against mech it's better.
By making mech better you open up more posibilities for ALL the races in SC2, not just Terran.
Every TvP has played out pretty much exactly the same since the start of WoL and you don't see that that's bad for the game? More options = more enjoyment for players and spectators.
