Personally I do see mines when I do play mech or hellbat drops from time to time. Problem is that if you are aware, you can spot them on the map and dodge them. Obviously good placed mines either cannot be dodged or you cannot drop, your choice haha :D

The WCS Finals were an embaressment and the format right now is just ridiculous. This is NOT the OSL. This is WCS Korea. And in WCS three different region use a format that OGN now completely changes because they dont want to "lose face" by adapting the GSL format. There's not doubt in my mind that in the next season OGN runs they have to adapt to the normal WCS format. You can hate me for my opinion all you want, but from at tournament organizers point (and I'm talking about Blizzard/WCS here, not OGNs past) there's just no sense to the development for WCS Korea this season. How does that make the format ridiculous? Why does it matter if the games in a group are spread out over a few days as opposed to all played on one? Who actually cares if it makes for quality games? Khaldor said the first TWO matches of the group... Not ALL the games... How is that relevant to what I said? He's complaining about the fact that the format is different. That's how the format is different.
Ah.... yes, Khaldor doesn't like the format. But what he tweeted was that they should at least play the first 2 matches of the same group on the same day (which is usually how round robin is played). How is that relevant? Because you complain about quality of game (preparation)? And with Khaldor's suggest, preparation is exactly the same.
If this still isn't clear, there are 3 different types of scheduling that we are discussing
1) Dual Tournament with all games on the same day (must prepare for all 3 other players, GSL)
2) Round Robin with 2 matches from 2 of the groups (still have preparation for 1 opponent, what Khaldor suggested)
3) Round Robin with only 1 match from each group (preparation for 1 opponent, OSL)
Everyone will have their own preference, but if you are going to argue against someone, at least understand their points first

I just don't see why the format's a big deal. Variety keeps things interesting. DH and MLG running the exact same format would make things stale. As long as each region comes up with its 5/6 qualifiers and calls the tourney WCS ____ I don't see an issue. It's definitely not ruining WCS Korea, the games are great and the storylines aren't hard to follow. Spreading the groups over two days keeps people watching to see the games that affect their favourites. I actually prefer it to the Gom format.
