JD would have to win 2 out of first three maps to make it a Bo7. The possile scerios would be: Polt wins 2:0, JD loses for the second time -> Polt advances Polt wins 2:1, JD loses for the second time -> Polt advances JD wins 2:1, the series becomes a Bo7. JD starts the bo7 being 2:1 ahead. JD wins 2:0, the series becomes a Bo7. JD starts the bo7 being 2:0 ahead.

Have you seen cameras pointed at the players screens because I have not. Just because they haven't been shown doesn't mean they aren't there. They can also just have people looking into the booth during the games.

I thought the point of this system is that the winners player should have an advantage. The fact that Polt happened to play Naniwa earlier is just random. Should be the same advantage for anyone he meets in this particular match imo

There were 3 (4 with JD) KeSPA players in this tournament, 1 made it to 5th/6th and 2 made top 12. Then there's JD who made it to 7th/8th. Those "godly superior KeSPA players" simply didn't participate, but even so they placed really well.

What is the problem with just having a true double elimination losers bracket ? Do they just not like the idea of not having it in the finals? Its the fairest, other than just having single elimination with is the same.
