Now, when I say chatting, I don't mean as in having casual conversation with someone, I mean using the ingame chat function.
Have you seen cameras pointed at the players screens because I have not.

If extended series wasn't in place, we would have the finals being played about a hour ago. Everyone knows that guy who will never admit he's wrong, even if you show him and he realises the best you'll get is "agree to disagree". Both are like the guy that everyone hates but still hast to respect for their skills, and they have a propensity to act all nonchalant like, "F--- you all, I'm just gonna win." X-D Should be a good match. People hated Polt when he talked shit about Jinro and beat fan favourite MMA in GSL super tournament, but that was two years ago... People effing love Polt nowadays

If extended series wasn't in place, we would have the finals being played about a hour ago. In that case they could just add bo5 for semifinals and perhaps bo7 for finals? ![]() I was hoping MLG would do Bo5 semis and Bo7 finals, but I guess being behind 2-X gives the community more to rally around and raise hype for the underdog. And having a rematch adds to the motivation of both players to do their best. But still, I think extended series was the wrong call, but not the worst possible. Agreed. Even though Naniwa will probably lose this one I am sure HerO will have a much greater chance at turning his series in his favor, only being down one game! Rooting for the underdog, yay!

Say Naniwa does win 2-1 this series, that knocks Polt down to the lower bracket where he would have to play..........Naniwa. Then Naniwa again has to win a series (ie. 4 total wins). that's how i always understood as well The extended series is flawed, at least in my opinion and in a lot of others, because it takes the SCORE of their previous engagement. The aspect of Nani winning and knocking polt to the lower bracket to face him again is fair, and 4 total wins is fair. The unfair aspect is the fact that the score is kept from their last engagement while that fact is true. It therefor gives two advantages to the person in the winners bracket (a higher starting score AND a second life)

They are watching the screens of each of the players remotely. the player in the booth could cheat by wearing a tiny micro earpiece, and someone in the crowd relays what the opponent is doing via the earpiece and the micro ear pieces are tiny and can even be embedded underneath the skin Yes. Players should undergo a cavity search... cavitty search might not even work, since you can embed the micro earpiece underneath the skin
