Hi,I'm the coach of Invictus Gaming from China. I want to know is there any chance can invite one of Chinese player? the qualifier is in EU server,i think we can't play it...too lag for us.

In fact, I think one of the two qualifiers should be played on NA server. It would be better.

Joining the choir: hope either some will get invited or qualify China fighting
neat quals on EU server means less Korean participants. I'm sure there will be enough korean invites to keep fans interested. Any chance the qualifiers will be broadcasted LIVE?

Can someone odentify the koreans in the bracket (zzkk12345, I_WIN_YOU_LOSE, smilekr29)? Also what is up with sLivko being in round two, but not in round 1, causing three people in that part of the bracket?
Meanwhile, Europe is already holding; Diestar 2-0 QXC and Happyzerg 2-0 JYP.

Probably leading to a stomping by MC, but whatever.
Korean vs Korean always make for anticlimactic finals at foreigner events, can't believe people actually hope for them to happen.
Because I'm hoping both of them do well throughout the tournament, and while I'm a fan of some foreign players, I also like some Korean ones too Also, while upsets can make for great storylines (e.g., Thorzain in TSL3), I don't restrict myself to only wanting to see underdog victories and miracle run-throughs.

ON another note, why is MMa even playing in this, I would assume, he would get an invitation, if he applies.
why would he get an invite, in the last few months, he didn't achieve anything except to win his wcs group. in gstl he seemed waay off. don't know why he should get an invite, he is not the same he was.

Forgot about that as well. I avoided T in the beta like the plagu(zinnnnggg)
almost like SH bugs doing more dps that hydras T_T and atacked air? i dont remember
Also pretty ridiculous, though I think that mine usage was a bit more readily apparent. Zergs in beta weren't quite sure how to budget for SH costs, but I remember seeing them take down air units, it looked so damn funny.
I also remember the WoL Beta maps where the SH was an odd lurker looking skin and the locusts were baby hydralisks.

Zanster 2:1 STC; Tefel 2:0 Motok. Only 4 koreans left; San, Revenge, Shuttle and pro7ect. It seems, that america can survive longer in this qualifier than korea.

I imagine they are playing on EU, couldn't help TOP that much beyond that I couldn't say.
Sure, but TOP 2-0ed sLivko the round before, it kinda confused me, that he would after this go out in the next round to a (on paper) much weaker opponent with the same race.
sLivko was not supposed to be in the bracket, and he did not play. There was some error when the brackets were created but an binarybeast.com admin sorted it out.

sLivko did not play. It was a forfeit win for TOP.
San is going to qualify without dropping a map but then lose in round 1 of the tournament because that's what San does One day he'll do well at the actual tournament again

If he ever does well, it will be because his team finally hired him a hypnotist.
I would have liked to have y0su cast it. He's usually involved in Finnish events and have an interesting approach as he doesn't speak all the time or raise his voice like others. Calm, smart and informative.

Not at all. A solid player. He absolutely crushed your fellow countryman BlinG for instance.
And? Bling is subpar in terms of European competition at best. Not saying Goswser isn't good, he's just very gimmicky.
It's ZvP. You have 3 choices right now. Either you play very greedy with super quick hive before 10 minutes for fast vipers, like Hyun, you turtle behind mass static defense with swarm hosts, or you do various 'gimmicks', timings, and tech switches to win games. I don't really like swarm hosts.

I'm talking more about hidden bases, spine crawler pushes etc. Not that it's not entertaining to watch, nor an innovative way to win. I'm probably just annoyed watching it as a Protoss and feeling BabyK's pain.

THANKS! :D Unfortunately I'm out of town this weekend or would have very much enjoyed casting this!
Hopefully there will be some casting tomorrow as well as I'd like to at least be able to watch more (if Khaldor has the stamina to do a repeat he truly is THE MAN!).
I'll try ^^ Only problem is that I'm going to cast GSTL pretty soon and right after I get back home the 2nd Qualifier for the ASUS ROG starts. As I have GSTL early the next day I might not be able to cast the entire 2nd Qualifier. Kinda casting 4 tournaments back 2 back so it'll be a bit hard to cover all of it. But I'll try

You're already the man! If you pull off GSTL and even half of the 2nd qualifier you're just insane
I really do think you're currently the hardest working (high profile) sc2 content provider at the moment! That does not go unnoticed and we appreciate it.
btw guys, stardust signed up for the qualfier #1, but didn't check in and therefore didn't take part in the qualifier. so i asked him yesterday on his stream why he didn't take part, he said he is one of the invited people <3
The bracket in the second qualifier has 131 matches in the first round with the last three going down and out of the screen. This seems a bit weird, does anyone have the same problem? (The top of the 2nd round says match 132, so those three really just seem of, no 512 bracket.
Wait, sorry if I'm being dense, but are the brackets posted anywhere? They don't seem to be listed in the OP and liquipedia also doesn't have much. Thanks

Who is this this VoTaN guy? According to the official bracket he is belarussian, according to LP he is portuguese and he is named after a german/nordic god.
So who is he and how did he take out MMA and vipro?

Hmm, doubt it, Wotan would´nt chose a belarussian/portuguese flag. It´s probably just Robert Ohlen, playing from holiday with a "really well hidden" smurf.

Yeah but I don't know if he'll be able to go in Finland. Last time he qualified for an offline event it was for the Numericable M-House Cup 2 and he couldn't attend even though there were 400 € allowed to the qualified player to help him for the trip.

That was Apex Esports, I think Inca, TOP, VINES, jookto and maybe a few other got canceled; I think it was shortly before either a DH or an Assembly. What Boucot said, was a more recent incident.

I hope so, if TOP qualifies, he really should get another chance at a foreign tournament, to finally remove that trauma caused by being 3-0ed by Gatored. Same worries are there for San.
On another note, Revolver won against TOP, it´s interesting to see the russians doing this well; Titan and sLivko qualified for Shanghai, Livezerg, pro7ect and now maybe revolver for Assembly with Happy already invited due to his good results in WCS.

It's a shame Gatored had to retire. Back then the NA scene was looking a lot better than it was now. Idra and Huk were going strong, Sheth was doing pretty well, and rising stars like Gatored were making big upsets. Now look at us.
Kas is butchering Revolver pretty hard in game one on the russian stream. Knowing, TOP has lost to Revolver before, I sadly don´t see him make it out of this, which is understandable though; he basically pulled an all-nighter to play this.
The last qualifier match will be played tomorrow 6 July 11:00 GMT (+00:00). It will decide if coL.viPro or Revolver will be the one to grab the last qualifier spot to the main tournament. Watch it on ESLTaiwan tomorrow.
