On June 18 2013 02:57 jekku wrote: To be fair I think the problem is ppl overhype Life way too much. If he was on a kespa team he would be good but not great (on second thought he might improve alot cause the crazy practice regiments). I just think Kespa players are pulling away from the esf players.
If Life goes into a slump the last hope of having an eSF player counted among the best in the world seems to go wtih him (at least until someone else emerges). I hope that Life goes to a KESPA team so that he can reach his true potential. It really does seem like the gap between the cream of the crop from KESPA and from eSF widens on a weekly basis, and I think this is primarily because of a vastly superior training environment and regiment. I'm guessing Life lost in part because Sjow played great and in part because he's been enjoying his summer vacation too much. Talented eSF players will have to decide in the coming years whether or not they want to train like true professionals. Their old practice habits clearly do not cut it any longer.

"Yo what happened you lost to a foreigner ? Was it Stephano, yeah he's pretty good and ZvZ is volatile, don't be so depressed bro !" "Well, I lost to ...... SjoW ......" *bursts out in tears " WAIT WHAT ? WHO ? ....................... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA !" "He forgot to plug his mouse !" "We should send Life him to America so he can ladder with ppl his level XD !" "We should make a sticky to help him remember that hotkey for morphing Lair into Hive, he forgot it" *Entire team rolling on the floor laughing, Life exits and heads over the closest bar to get hammered and forget about his pain* Poor Life :/ Straight back into dishwasher team after Dreamhack T_T; I still was more surprised by NaNiwa's run at MLG Providence and MLG Global Invitational (same weekend, same place). He beat Mvp, Nestea (twice), DRG and HuK only to loose to his eventual cryptonite Leenock.

And the reasons I gave say you're reasons aren't very good. Hell Koreans even came up with a nickname for qxc after that. That alone means it wins I think.

For small audiences Incontrol is ok, but he just lack something when he has been on a big stage. And what the hell, Soe? She just does the cute little arts and crafts stuff with SC2, and is lacking in pretty much everything else related to it.

Yeah, also SjoW made heavy use of hellbat + widow mine during the series, so the games would have looked different and probably more in Life's favour considering how he dominated ZvT during WoL.
