Bomber is a fucking oracle, he saw this coming 2 years ago

People tend to disregard the advantage of home for e-sports but anyone who watches afk-sports knows the disparity between playing at home vs on the road. Koreans especially, don't travel very well.
What Jinro did to the Koreans in Korea surpasses this.
Game was new then. Koreans weren't that much better than creative foreigners during those early days. Idra was a top contender then too.
Not that Jinro's feats weren't super impressive, but Korean mechanics have come a long way from then.

+9999
It was 3 B teamers and Mvp though, not the real full IM lineup. the only upset was him beating Mvp in a bo1.
Really? So qxc == Korean B teamer? Not sure you'd have had many people give him that much credit at the time. Whether he deserved it or not. All kill was incredible and just as this last match very few people really thought it would happen.
Also look at what QXC accomplished before and since. I honestly don't know where that came from!

I am always suprised how often this happens to people, or how many posts like this I read, why would you turn of the stream after the first map in a bo3?
Because some people have to work, eat, sleep or do things which are not in front of a computer?! O.o It is called "Real life" try it. IT ROCKS!

I bet many of the SC2 fans doesn't know how Stardust actually is, without looking it up. Take asked the same question and he had no clue he was a player for Airforce ACE in broodwar.

Just like banelings? Both banelings and widow mines force micro.
When the tier 1 Korean tried to fight 3-3 marines with mutas head on?
banelings require a lot more to use. widow mine is a shift click and set for game. never have to go back there. a bane mine you have to activate. and if you are talking about splitting required vs banes yeah but you can see them coming. widow mines just get left all over beccause they activate themselves
But you can morph 20 banelings at once. Mines once borrowed are stationary while banelings can chase after you on creep. Zergs also have lings to help surround. All Life needed was an overseer to clear the mines but he rushed to tried to finished the game. He also ran in with his lings and banes to Sjow's production with sim city instead of taking out the forth. If it was just mines being OP that made Life lose to Sjow's. Then Life would have a hard time vs any Korean Terran in GSL/OSL.
so going to have an overseer with every spawning group, ever? The mines are too easy to set all over the map. they dont need to move because they target themselves. sjow played well, life played bad, but life still should have cleaned him if not for the efficiency of mines. Ive said mines are too easy to use for their dmg since HOTS release. Just this shows it's some bs when 2nd tier foreigner can even claim a game off a Korean
Hah. So fucking butthurt zerg korean fanboy it's not even funny. Your idol got outplayed. Deal with it.

Don't know, Jinro was a lot closer in skill with the koreans imo. The (supposed) skill difference between Sjow and Life is a lot bigger. Probably not the biggest win by an upset, but imo the biggest upset, only rivaled by qxc's.

didn't DIMAGA beat Nestea when Nestea never ever lost ZvZ?
That too. DIMAGA greatest foreigner ever and greatest upsetter? Wow we settled that quick!
it wasn't that great of an upset, dimaga was really good, it's not like people wrote him off completely like everyone did in sjow's case.
