 Heres my dream-method of picking brackets Take ro16 for example assign each player a number 1-16 use random number generator to pick 2 numbers. you get 2 players. those 2 players face eachother unless 1 wants to pick a different opponent. in which case both players each pick an opponent to face if both pick the same opponent, that person chooses which one he faces. and the remaining player then picks who he plays. this gives you 2 matches, and 12 players remaining. Repeat the process (assigning remaining players numbers 1-12) untill all players have matches Then you do the whole thing again for the ro8 and ro4 Sure, this "random luck of the draw" would give the first 2 players pick an "advantage" in the fact that they get to pick their opponents however, Honestly, I dont care if those 2 players have a slight advantage because it produces MUCH MORE DRAMA and excitement in the matches knowing the match has one player being the assumed underdog who the other guy thinks should be a easy win And honestly how long would it take to do this for a ro16?? 20 minutes? it could even be done online, electronically. Adding on 20 minutes just to produce more drama-filled exciting brackets ........ I wish MLG or something or GSL would do this for their ro16's and beyond.... it will never happen but a man can dream | ||
