This gig starts like 8am. Tasteless is not awake at that time. In fact he just got to bed after the usual night out. He gets up in the afternoon. A naked lady comes with his herb beverage or something and then they snuggle. Then he walks down to the café and listens to some chill music on his gizmomophone while sippin on his coffee. That's how he rolls.

If GomTV isn't going to pay for two casters per stream, then coming in without pay kind of sets a bad precedent. What happens the next time that GomTV decides it only wants 1 caster, or only wants to pay for solo casting? Will GomTV or the community expect the second caster to come in for free, because of their passion for eSports?
The better outcome is for GomTV to make the investment (i.e. take the hit) and pay for dual casting. In this case, GomTV should definitely be doing it because they're charging $14.99 for the 4 day event on Twitch and I think something similar on their own stream, because us GSL Yearly Ticket holders don't get the Season 1 finals included We'd have to pay for another ticket
TLDR: GomTV should pay for both casters, instead of them (or us) expecting the 2nd caster to come in for free.

Oh god, why the viewership is so bad. Only 25k viewers?

Those games will take forever because neither side will ever run out of resources and become a starring contest. Iron Squid 2, DRG vs NesTea, Game 5. The most WTF game I've ever seen. Did you happen to see game 1 of RorO vs Symbol in the gsl final >_>;? glorious lategame ZvZ then it was just a brick wall of broodling vs broodling for like a solid minute. Yeah... just imagine that now with locusts added. We can call it. ZvZ early game to ZvZ meta/mid game to ZvZ World War I i have it figured out, it is going to be broodlord swarmhost viper Vipers will be trying pull broodlords and swarmhosts to their death. The other player will counter this by trying to pre-emptively pull the viper into their own army before it gets the pull. what about corruptors you say? Well that's the thing. They will also have insurance vipers ready to pull their own viper to safety before it gets shot. and they bring spores along which outrange corruptors but not vipers. thats what zvz will be.
I see... so you're saying that the new ZvZ will be broodlords and swarm hosts shooting units at each other while vipers in the air just switch positions pulling each other.

If Khaldor wants to come in for free that's cool too but you shouldn't hate tasteless for not giving up his time for nothing.

Also let's remember that this is the first WCS Final, you can't expect it to be top notch when e-sports is still growing

If you're good at something, never do it for free

Obviously right. But if Tasteless was paid to solocast a group, him not showing up would just be unprofessional (unless valid reasons I guess), but you can't expect him to show up without pay indeed.

It's amazing the # of dedication he has, especially doing things that most peopel would turn the blind eye doing (aka broadcasting the Code A qualifers + podcasts) Tasteless...meh...never was a fan of him. Tasteless was amazing in BW days, today he's just pretty good. The hype that tasteless provides is invaluable. People complain that they don't like that kind of thing but then wonder why things like the wcs_am stream seems lackluster. Tasteless is surprisingly good at filling dead time after having had every single possible conversation with his co-caster, and he knows how to make a game feel exciting. I mean I love SC2, but how good the casting is makes such a big difference in how exciting it is to watch. People don't realize how much tasteless actually provides to that experience. As silly as it seems to actually type this out, I think Tasteless is one of the most seriously underrated casters out there. Sounds pretty damn right imo :D He's always very enjoyable to listen to, even though you can kinda tell he hasn't touched the game in months haha. people always say like "its clear that he hasn't played in a while" I don't think its all that obvious from his casting style given that he doesn't really do analysis. Its not like he refrains from analyzing out of lack of knowledge, thats just not his role in the casting archon. I think I heard iNcontroL mention on a talk show perhaps a month ago that Tasteless is a good caster, and you could tell that he improved a lot once he started playing the game again recently. Something like that. In other words, I think Tasteless started playing SC2 a lot more again awhile ago.
