Yes, it was online but theognis' macro and micro was really well done in both games. Seems odd that Jaedong would lose to someone who we barely see play(at least I never saw any previous games) but he didn't play as well as I thought he would.

There was also Dimaga's win over Nestea in the GSL WC when Nestea had like an 90% winrate in ZvZ and had never lost a live ZvZ match before.

Jjakji played okay, even had some unique TvP but really looked like he lucked out most of the way. Leenock meanwhile dominated MLG Providence and had the best ZvT in the world (beat MVP in a bo5 too). Then Jjakji just went apeshit and gave us our first good gsl final (which makes it even more unexpected). jjakjis final gift to starcraft was good GSL finals. After seeing tons of deserving champions stomp their way to the money he decided to sneak into the studio one day and show them how its done.

This dude is has placed deep in several GSLs and won an IPL (way more than ForGG ever did in SC2) and yet nobody thinks he has a hope. He Plays some weird styles and could definitely catch innovation off guard. Once again, smart money is on innovation, but it aint over til its over.
