if it was MLG's fault that Miya was late, then I can see how they think it's the fairest solution to let him in late
very complex issue!
perplexing that Genna would not take her player's side tho, giving your players near unconditional support publically is like a given in most sports. I feel like there's some info we are missing regarding the circumstances. Maybe she realizes the stupidity of MLG's decision and wants the make the right choice. that's what I would do in her place. we really do need more people like her in esports
MLG's mistake was stupid, but the decision itself I think is pretty ambiguous and up for debate

I feel like there's some info we are missing regarding the circumstances. it's like the first time they try to solve an admin issue they fucked up themselves
like the Chinese players who got told by an admin they were in the brackets and weren't, countless of players at offline MLGs who got told the wrong times to show up and got a default loss
it'd be as if they told the people who got knocked out by Hyun in the Premier qualifiers to play their bracket again, as if they had replayed the whole bracket after they DQed Comm, etc.
no matter how they decide, it isn't consistent at all

Not really. As she might think mija has better chances in lower bracket then moosegrill

TaeJa's micro is just too good. Also hendralisk going Leeroy Jenkins time after time didn't help at all.

ah, makes sense. I agree that taeja caught up fairly quickly and I was confident he was giong to win long before the casters were. The key moment to me was when hendra sent only a fraction of his army to defend his third, thinking taeja was going to drop everywhere. Instead that small group of marines ended taking out an easy 30 supply or so forcing hendra to keep making units rather than solidify his advantage with tech and more economy. Really poor play by him imo, but still highlights just how insanely good taeja is.

If so and she made Miya drop to loser's that's totally bawler. When MLG can't make the right call more sensible people have to step up. Props to her. Tbh I really don't agree with people here, that is to say one call was the right one. Here I am assuming that MLG admins told Miya the wrong time(and it wasn't his mistake at all), but if so you just have to decide who to fuck over, Miya or Moosegills, Sasq. and Demu. A terrible decision to make, but quite frankly I think the worst decision you can make is to let non-admin make it. If they're going down the Comm route again, Miya should get DQed.

Taeja said that he got injured on his wrist but he could still played so well. I strongly suspect that he doesn't put his heart on SPL cuz EG has no chance to go play-offs, and he could concentrate all to his own game.

Come on MLG, can't believe we're having another administrative fuck-up.

Im still waiting for plainsix to defend MLG again^^

How though? Demu and Moose had already started there Bo3... if the admin was the cause of the problem, you deal with that admin and give Moose the bye... it's pretty ridiculous to deal with it in any other way

Maybe she just doesn't want the anger being misdirected at her player.

This is the worst game to cast out of all the winners round 3 games.... lol

He sent his medivacs north while Hendralisk had vision of them and then when he didn't he quickly turned around and assaulted the 3rd again. Hendralisk's move was quite logical, and in that situation it was really the best option he had.

Consider this. They have Miya drop down so people are happy about that. Then Miya could still qualify if he manages to beat KawaiiRice and Top. Maybe they assume Miya could qualify anyways and it wont matter + good publicity? It's a risk because Miya could lose, but I feel like it could be a small possibility.

It'd be cool if they had someone give a statement about the issues at hand on stream but it seems like the stream production is just about completely disconnected from the administrative side of things.
