Teams have it so fucking easy against them. Never practice against Zerg. Focus all your efforts on vT and Creator. You always know the four players who are coming out, so you can have players specifically practice to snipe a certain player. | ||

If they don't hard counter they're fucked. I'm not sure hard counter is the right word, because it's not like an auto-win like mass mutas vs anion crystal. There are still lots of ways for protoss to win, it just makes it a lot harder when your tech gets countered. The earlier game with Creator and Ryung was a good example. Creator went templar tech so Ryung countered with ghosts, got in the EMP and snipes right before the big engagement, and just destroyed Creator's deathball. Even Crank v Byun, Byun was getting ahead because he was so effective at sniping the templar. But when it came down to the big engagement, I don't know if Byun mismicro'd or what, but he didn't get one snipe off and Crank unleashed like a million storms and evaporated ~70 supply in a heartbeat. If Byun had been as on top of his snipe micro as he had during the whole game I think it would've been a very different outcome. | ||

Yeah it seems like if you're sending your best possible lineup and still getting stomped, you might as well send some of your rookies into the booth because that experience is really invaluable. I guess I can't talk too much since I don't know Prime's situation at all, but it seems like strictly a terrible idea to use virtually the same lineup in every match for pretty much as long as I can remember. Hell, they had an almost identical lineup way back when they won GSTL, that's how long it's been. IMO Prime needs to prioritize training the new blood via booth experience, especially if their best possible lineup is already getting beaten (even by NSHS). If that is the line of practice the whole team is going with, then I cant see anyone getting sent out instead of the quartet because there is simply no point. | ||

While it is laudable that they used GSTL to train rookies, and exposing them was certainly very successful (great fan of their line-up ), they still didn't take the competition as such seriously. A competition is trying to win. They did not try their best. | ||

I did, and it's "full of not so believable points". MVP and Nestea are pro gamers, acting as if they'd get panic attacks when they're fielded as aces is hard to believe. For me, it sounds more like that the team as a whole is not considering the league as something that is essential to win, which was the origianl point I was trying to make. | ||
