I'd like to see Kop given a go instead of hOpe. He won all three matchups in qualifying for Code A so he has some promise.

If JangBi wins, it'll be close. If he loses, it will be a landslide.

ZerO > hOpe
sOs > Stork
free < JangBi
Soulkey > Solar
Flying < RorO
Light < Reality

sOs > RorO

Woongjin will probably do too much damage with their starting 4 of Zero, sOs, free, and Soulkey for Samsung to recover, but if it goes to the ace match, Samsung are slight favourites.

ZerO <Bel'Shir Vestige> hOpe
sOs <Fighting Spirit> Stork
free <Akilon Wastes> JangBi
Soulkey <Whirlwind> Solar
Flying <Naro Station> RorO
Light <Newkirk Redevelopment Precint> Reality

Ace match will probably be Roro vs. sOs? Or perhaps jangbi. Thats a tossup lol

BTW, how do fans know which team is going to be cheered for first, then second? Do they coordinate it beforehand?

I think the player/team on the audience left-hand side gets cheered first.

That question was difficult indeed. So has anybody any idea who that player is that played 3 times in a proleague match in May 2005? (probably somebody who played 1v1, 2v2 and the ace match)

they ought to force teams to choose the order of the players they send out before they reveal the maps.

A couple years ago they did lineup decisions match by match - I thought this was the best option.

So somebody played 4 times in one match?

May 24 (I think, maybe misheard that myself) 2005, correct. Julyzerg is the answer?

Well, if it is indeed him, that's pretty sick. Always heard he was super aggressive, so I would've expected some who was considered solid and steady to be the answer.

Either gomtv are wrong or liquipedia is wrong, but
http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/2005_SKY_Proleague_Round_1/Results/April_May
According to this there was no proleague match May 24, 2005. Furthermore, the round played in May 2005 was bo3 not bo5...

Sorry about the date, my brain might have just made up something without my permission.

So somebody played 4 times in one match?
Was the year 2005 or did I get that wrong, too?

May 24, 2005, correct. Julyzerg is the answer?

Either gomtv are wrong or liquipedia is wrong, but
http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/2005_SKY_Proleague_Round_1/Results/April_May
According to this there was no proleague match May 24, 2005. Furthermore, the round played in May 2005 was bo3 not bo5...

Why is the countdown sound in the lobby different now?

Before, I liked that they used to the exact same sound effect from BW (at least it seemed so).

But did they change it (or is it a stream sound issue) to some other countdown sound?

Wow, I go to McDonals during the ZvZ and come back to game 2 starting. I'm not sure if I should be disappointed, or by Proleague's standards, impressed.

Wha it is....

Air units that counter themselves and all the other air units (well, maybe except carriers) and whoever gets more wins

And this time you don't get the ling/bane battles to make it biplanar

I wish we'd put our stronger players first...if you get 4-0'd without even playing roro, that kinda sucks if we got to 3 games, I have faith that we'd be able to close it out in an ace ;;

I never understand the concept of putting your best player in at no.5, I understand maybe the maps dont work out but at 5 he might not even play where as before that he can turn things around or keep the momentum going.

Someone besides Roro needs to win at some point, it doesn't matter if he's in the first 4 or not (except for map score).

im getting less and less interested in pro league due to the insanely high amount of mirror match ups..
i mean they're fun to watch but not ALL THE TIME, i feel like 80-90% of the time i watch proleague i am watching mirror ones

i guess there's no really way to fix it?

I am beginning to fear that there might be too much 4-0, 4-1, all kills etc etc in SC2 esport. These are not good for the fans and reduces sponsorship exposure.

It's killing Esport in a subtle way.
